An IBC (intermediate bulk container) is a reusable tote for bulk liquids, typically an HDPE bottle inside a galvanized steel cage on an integrated pallet. Novvia stocks poly and stainless IBCs in 275 and 330 gallon sizes, both new and reconditioned.
A new tote has a virgin bottle that has never been filled. A reconditioned tote reuses a cleaned and tested bottle at lower cost. A reman (rebottled) tote fits a brand-new bottle into a reused cage, giving you new-bottle cleanliness at a value price.
New food-grade totes are molded from FDA-compliant virgin resin for direct contact with food, beverage and ingredients. Food and beverage fills require a new, never-used bottle. Reconditioned totes are for industrial products only.
The two standard sizes are 275 and 330 gallon. Both sit on a roughly 40x48-inch pallet footprint; the 330 is taller and heavier when full. Our team can confirm exact dimensions and cage height for your line.
Yes. UN-rated IBC totes are certified for shipping regulated hazardous liquids. The rating depends on the certified bottle, valve and fittings as a complete package, so confirm the full configuration with our specialists.
Poly (HDPE) bottle-in-cage totes handle most non-hazardous and general chemical liquids at the lowest cost. Stainless-steel IBCs are corrosion-proof, sanitary and reusable, the choice for corrosive, high-purity or high-temperature products.
Novvia distributes new and reconditioned IBC totes nationwide from locations across the country. Visit our locations page or talk to a specialist to find stock and delivery near you.
