The Outside Sales Representative is a key growth driver for Novvia Group, owning a defined territory and portfolio of strategic accounts. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution development to closing and ongoing account management, while leveraging Novvia’s broad packaging portfolio to deliver high-value, long-term solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at appropriate gross margins while delivering on customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute an annual sales plan in conjunction with the manager, detailing activities for the fiscal year to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Display and demonstrate products using samples, catalogs, and digital tools, emphasizing value-added and salable features.
- Maintain a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
- Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified customer and prospect business challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities, within the assigned territory using CRM.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and related activity, and store this information in the CRM.
- Develop outstanding customer and prospect relationships as part of the selling process.
- Use a value-added selling approach, identifying customer challenges and bringing solutions to those needs.
- Maintain a strong focus on business development and territory growth.
- Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedules.
- Communicate unexpected increases or decreases in product demand to the business support team.
- Fully utilize company resources to solve problems and develop innovative packaging solutions.
- Follow Novvia Group policies, guidelines, and professional standards, and demonstrate behaviors aligned with company values.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, sharing territory successes, challenges, ideas, and market insights that help improve the business.
- Travel throughout the territory as necessary to service existing customers, acquire new business, and grow the territory.
- Attend trade shows as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
