A veteran packaging industry executive, Ken has played a key role in leading the acquisition strategy to form Novvia’s dynamic group of companies. He previously served as President and CEO of Mauser Packaging Solutions (formally Bway Holding, Inc.), a global leader in rigid packaging and sustainability solutions, until his retirement at the end of 2020. Over the course of his 20-year tenure at Mauser, he spearheaded the growth of the company from 10 plants and revenue of $350 million to 180 plants on five continents and $4 billion revenue.

Sarah Macdonald

Bringing more than 30 years of strategic leadership and operational experience with global B2B companies, Sarah became CEO of Novvia Group in May 2021, adding to her role as CEO of C.L. Smith, a leading rigid packaging manufacturer & distributor, where she has served since 2017, during which time the company achieved transformational top and bottom-line growth. Before that, she was President of Silgan Plastics, a leading supplier of custom-designed plastic containers and closures with 19 facilities across North America. Earlier, she was with Appvion Inc., serving most recently as General Manager and Vice President, Specialty Paper & International Division. Prior to that, she led U.S. Can Corporation’s (now Ball Corporation) global growth trajectory as their Global Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Dan McAteer
Dan McAteerChief Financial Officer

A deeply experienced financial leader, Dan has been CFO of C.L. Smith, a leading rigid packaging manufacturer & distributor, since 2010. Prior to that he served for nearly 14 years as CFO of Wiese USA, one of the largest material handling equipment companies in the Midwest and Midsouth. Earlier, he was CFO of O’Fallon Lumber and Supply, a privately held lumber distributor and truss manufacturer, and Comptroller of Thoele Oil Company, which comprised multiple corporations including convenience stores and real estate.

Jim Core
Jim CoreGroup President & EVP

With over 30 years of experience in the business-to-business distribution space and as a US Army Veteran & Wake Forest University Graduate, Jim brings organizational process, accountability, and leadership skills into his role of Group President and EVP at Novvia Group.  His key strengths are integrating companies to accelerate growth & profitability without inhibiting the culture and entrepreneurial spirit.  Before his role at Novvia Group, he worked for 5 years integrating businesses into the Home Depot, and prior to that he built and branded, SupplyWorks, a national, billion-dollar business through both acquisitional and organic growth.
